National Informatics Centre (NIC) invites young IT professionals to join its ranks to take up challenging assignment in the domain of e-Governance.

1. Scientist-C: Posts: 10; Educational Qualification: Ph.D in Computer Science/ Mathematics/ Statistics / Operations Research/ Engineering; OR M.E./M.Tech. in Computer Science/ Engineering with First Class or minimum 60% marks in aggregate and with 3 years relevant experience; Pay Scale: 15600-39100 (GP 6600); Max Age: 35 Yrs.
2. Scientific Officer / Engineer-SB (Programmer): Posts: 58 (SC-8, ST-4, OBC-15, UR-31, PWD-2); Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/MCA with first class or minimum 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent and specialization in Computer Science/Computer related areas; OR M.Sc in Computer Science with first class or at least 60% marks or equivalent; Pay Scale: 9300-34800 (GP 4600); Max Age: 30 Yrs.
3. Scientific/ Technical Assistant-B: Posts: 167(SC-25, ST-12, OBC-45, UR-85, PWD-5); Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Physics/ Mathematics/ Statistics / Operations Research / Economics (with specialization in Information Technology) with atleast 60% marks in aggregate and One year experience of computer programming is essential; OR Bachelor’s degree in Physics/ Maths / Statistics / Operations Research/ Economics (with specialization in Information Technology) either with Post Graduate  Diploma in Computer Science/ Computer Applications (from a Govt. recognized Institution/University); Pay Scale: 9300-34800 (GP 4200); Max Age: 30 Yrs.
