IV (2): Category: I; Posts: 08 (UR-5, SC-1, OBC-1, PWD-1); Qualification: Ph.D. in Chemistry/ M.Tech /M.E in Metallurgical/Materials Engineering/Chemical Engineering with two years post qualification research experience; Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs.6600 in PB-3; Max Age: 35 years.
• Scientist Gr. IV (2): Category: II (Special Recruitment Drive for SC/ST/OBC; Posts: 08 (SC-4, ST-1, OBC-1); Qualification: Ph.D. in Chemistry/ M.Tech /M.E in Metallurgical/ Materials Engineering/Chemical Engineering with two years post qualification research experience; Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs.6600 in PB-3; Max Age: 35 years.

Application fee:  Rs.100/- in the form of Demand Draft (SC/ST/Persons with Disabilities/ Women and Departmental candidates of CSIR are exempted from payment of application fee) drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favour of Director, CECRI, payable at Karaikudi.
