NVBDCP Consultant vacancy July 2010: Walk-in

Walk-in-Interview at Directorate of National Vector Borne Disease Control Programme:

1. Consultant (Environment Safety): Post: 1; Educational Qualifications: Post Graduate degree in Environmental Science/ Life Sciences / Chemistry / Agriculture and should have 1 year experience in environmental management/ integrated pest management; Salary; Salary: Rs. 40000-50000; Max Age: 65 years.
2. Consultant (Financial Management/Accounts, Budget): Posts: 2; Educational Qualifications: CA/MBA (Finance) And Minimum 2 years experience in accounting including analysis, financial reporting, budgeting, financial software and reporting systems; Salary: Rs. 40000-50000; Max Age: 65 years.
3. Consultant (NGO/PPP): Post: 1; Educational Qualifications: Post Graduate degree in Anthropology / Sociology / Social Work / Mass Communication; preferably with Ph.D. with exposure to development work, advocacy and demonstrated understanding of PPP management, communication, research. And 3 years experience in the field; Salary: Rs. 40000-50000; Max Age: 65 years.
4. Consultant (Public Health): Post: 1; Educational Qualifications: MBBS with Post Graduate degree/diploma in Preventive Social Medicine/Community Medicine/ CHA/ Public Health. And 3 years of experience in the area of specialization, of which preferably 1 year in public health programme; Salary: Rs. 40000-50000; Max Age: 65 years.
5. Consultant (Monitoring & Evaluation): Post: 1; Educational Qualifications: MBBS with Post Graduate degree in Preventive Social Medicine/ Community Medicine/ CHA/ Public Health And 3 years of experience in the area of specialization, of which preferably 1 year in public health programme OR MBBS with MPH/DPH with 3 years experience OR Post Graduate degree in Zoology /Life Sciences with 5 years experience in the field of vector borne disease control & health program. Salary: Rs.40000-50000; Max Age: 65 years.

7.       Section Coordinator: Post: 2; Educational Qualifications: Graduate with experience working as Office Superintendent or Section Officer to work as Section Coordinator to assist the officers and Consultants in day to day implementation of project activities and should be expert in handling official correspondence independently with noting and drafting. Minimum 5 years experience in handling World Bank Project or similar type of project shall be given preference. Salary: Rs.16,000;  Max Age: 65 years. 
8.      Computer Programmer: Post: 1; Educational Qualifications: BCA/Graduate with 1 year Diploma in Software development. A minimum of 1 year experience is required in developing latest software & Web Designing; Salary: Rs.12,000; Max Age: 45 years.
9.       Secretarial Assistant: Posts: 6; Educational Qualifications: Graduate from recognized University with shorthand speed of 80 w.p.m and typing speed of 30 w.p.m with computer knowledge on MS Office, Excel, Power Point and should have minimum 1-2 years experience in handling of official correspondence; Salary: Rs.8,500; Max Age: 45 years.
10.     Data Entry Operator: Post: 1; Educational Qualifications: Graduate from recognized University. Working knowledge of computers and should be able to work with software used in statistical analysis. Minimum 1-2 years experience in data recording and data analysis; Salary: Rs.8,500; Max Age: 45 years.
